Quatre Gersois, faisant partie de la délégation française de basket 3×3, ont brillé en Italie la semaine passée en décrochant la médaille de bronze lors des Jeux mondiaux des travailleurs.
Four people from Gers proudly represented France in a 3×3 basketball competition that involved over 50 countries. The International Workers’ Sports Confederation (CSIT) organized the World Sports Games, which took place last week in Italy, specifically in Cervia, north of San Marino.

David Garcia, Anthony Maurio, Fabrice Mondong, Patrick Garcia, and their coach Nelly Dedieu from USEMA Basket (Colomiers) in Gers were part of the French delegation for the 3×3 basketball team. The four Gersois did not disappoint as they faced Italy, Austria, and Portugal in the semifinals, winning 14-7. The French team secured the bronze medal, finishing in 3rd place on the podium alongside Austria (2nd) and Kosovo (1st).
