Ce n’est pas comme le foot où l’exploit existe, en rugby il y a une dimension physique. » Il espère modestement que son équipe « marquera quelques essais. Le plus important c’est de partager et d’apprendre », même si Rodrigo rappelle que ses favoris ont éliminé le Canada et les États-Unis, deux habitués des phases finales. « On s’est qualifiés directement, ce n’est pas volé ! » J’espère aussi que ce sera une vitrine pour nos joueurs. » Dans l’effectif chilien, on retrouvera le trois-quarts centre du SA XV Iñaki Ayarza.

Au service des spectateurs, elle sera affectée aux… enfants perdus ! « On sera quatre à faire ça », dit-elle. La mission est originale mais pas des moins importantes. Elle consiste à rechercher les enfants égarés dans le stade, ou inversement leurs parents. « On fait notre service avant et après le match, pendant s’il y a besoin et sinon on peut voir la rencontre. » Elle sera donc aux premières loges pour voir pays de Galles-Fidji, Afrique du Sud-Roumanie, Irlande-Roumanie, Samoa-Chili et Fidji-Géorgie. « Cela va être grandiose », indique celle qui pratique le « touch-rugby ». « En plus, on verra deux hakas, ceux des Fidji et des Samoa », salive-t-elle. Les autres matches, et notamment à partir des quarts de finale, elle les regardera avec ses amis du club de La Couronne.
