The French national rugby team can rely on their last match against the All Blacks, which they won 40-25 on November 20, 2021. However, they should be cautious about overconfidence, as in the last World Cup held in France in 2007, the French team, considered favorites, were defeated in the opening match against Argentina (12-17).
Favorites, that’s also the status they will have this Friday evening, having had a great Six Nations tournament finishing in second place and a successful preparation (3 wins and 1 loss). The French team will face a struggling All Blacks team in 2022 (with 4 losses) who are coming off a disastrous preparation match against South Africa (7-35).
