After organizing several discovery sessions of the martial art known as kobudo, the leaders and instructors of this sport are offering a new one. Okinawa kobudo brings together combat techniques that use agricultural tools instead of bladed weapons such as katanas and daggers, which were prohibited during the invasion of the Ryu Kyu Kingdom (Okinawa).
The training was conducted secretly by the warriors of Okinawa to turn these agricultural tools into formidable weapons.
For those who are not yet familiar with this practice, they have the opportunity to participate in a discovery morning that will take place on Saturday, September 23rd from nine o’clock to noon at the Balsac community hall.
At the end of this session, a friendly aperitif will be offered to the participants. Just a reminder, the classes take place every Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the Balsac community hall. Minimum age is 12 years old.
