Emmanuel Macron, roi du cliffhanger

Les faits –

On August 30th, Emmanuel Macron gathers eleven party leaders in Saint-Denis and promises them a letter summarizing their discussions. The letter was received by them early in the morning on September 7th. They are expected to respond to it by September 10th.

A President must be able to do everything. Including meeting summaries. On the night of August 30 to 31, in Saint-Denis, Emmanuel Macron meticulously takes note of his exchanges with the eleven political party leaders, the three Assembly presidents, and the Prime Minister. He has a competitor, Gérard Larcher, the Senate leader, known for using a pen when facing all his interlocutors. But it is the President’s responsibility to document these discussions in writing. This is done on the morning of September 7.
