The CM2 students from Edouard Herriot school in Soyaux were in Bordeaux on Saturday to support the Chile team of SA XV’s Iñaki Ayarza, who unfortunately lost 43-10 against Samoa.
During Chile’s defeat (43-10) against Samoa on Saturday in Bordeaux, Iñaki Ayarza received support from the students of the « World Cup generation » at Edouard Herriot school in Soyaux. The 5th graders, accompanied by their principal Magali and their teachers Sandrine and Marlène, were present at Atlantique stadium.
For the past four years, thanks to the socio-educational sports animation department (ASSE) of SA XV led by Ludovic Bussard and Denis Gibert, they have been introduced to rugby and its surroundings. Iñaki Ayarza has promised to visit the children after the World Cup.
