Quelle a été votre expérience lors des trois premières années de votre mandat en tant qu’opposition ?
C’est avec une déception certaine que j’ai vécu les trois premières années de ce mandat municipal. Élu dans la majorité municipale de 2014 à 2020, avec un mandat de maire-adjoint, je siège depuis 2020 dans l’opposition. Depuis trois ans, je vis des débats très souvent stériles et agressifs au sein du conseil municipal et constate un manque de volonté d’écouter et d’entendre tous les élus d’opposition et les Ramonvillois qu’ils représentent. J’observe des écarts significatifs entre les discours tenus, les actions de propagande et les réelles mises en œuvre.
Est-ce que votre position actuelle en tant qu’élu Non apparenté à un groupe est permanente ?
I am guided by the expectations of the people of Ramonville, determined to find the necessary balance to improve the quality of life in all neighborhoods, promote better living together, and ensure public tranquility. My current position allows me to be more comfortable and determined to take more calm and constructive positions while respecting my socialist and republican values.
Quels sont vos plans pour la suite de cette deuxième partie de mandat ?
I need to maintain a vigilant mindset towards certain directions and commitments made by the current municipal majority. Ramonville has so many challenges to overcome! In my opinion, it is together as elected officials that we must face them! In this regard, I follow in the footsteps of Carole Delga, the president of our Occitanie region, who knows how to work and move it forward with her left-wing majority.
What is your opinion on the role of Ramonville in Sicoval?
She has always been and must remain predominant within the intermunicipal community due to its demographic importance and proximity to Toulouse Métropole. The planned development of the Ramonville Technological Park is a good example of this. However, the residents of Ramonville need a better explanation of this intermunicipal community, as I believe they do not fully understand its real impact and benefits.
