This is already the 3rd school year as director for Marie-Laurence Gandard and the teaching team, who have only seen one of them leave for another place and responsibility. The director herself teaches the CP-CE1 and 2 class; Marie-Pierre Soule teaches the CM1 and 2 children, and in the nursery level, Bénédicte Duhaillon introduces the little ones to life and knowledge, with a whole program of first learning for the children in the small, medium, and large sections. However, we are obliged to note that the current enrollment of 62 children, deemed insufficient by the Education Ministry, has resulted in the closure of a class. However, there will be new students starting in September 24…
For the upcoming months, « environmental protection, mainly around the school » will be the main focus of many exercises and actions; swimming sessions (twice a week) for the older students, municipal library visits for everyone once a week. And nobody complains about eating the delicious meals (even the adults!) prepared by Steeve Autin, the school restaurant chef! Yum! It’s a great place to be at this community school!
