Scotland convincingly defeated Tonga (45-17) on Sunday, September 24th in Nice during the third day of the Rugby World Cup, and still has a chance to qualify for the highly competitive Pool B quarter-finals.

Le XV du Chardon s’est rapidement détaché, empochant le point du bonus offensif avant la mi-temps (24-10), et a assis sa domination dans le deuxième acte.

After two matches and with five points on the scoreboard, the Scots are still behind Ireland and South Africa but can still believe in reaching the quarterfinals before facing Romania on September 30th and Ireland on October 7th, a match that could be decisive for qualification.
