« I cannot reword »
The goals of the initiative, outlined in June and now being implemented, are to improve detection, enhance reporting, and gain a better understanding of the extent of the phenomenon. This comes shortly after Emmanuelle Béart spoke out about the incest she endured from the age of 10 to 14, in the documentary « Un silence si bruyant, » which she co-directed with Anastasia Mikova. The documentary, featuring the testimonies of four incest survivors, will be aired on September 24th on M6.
« I cannot reword »
Starting from September 15th, there will be a display campaign aimed at « raising awareness and appealing to people’s appetites ».
On Tuesday, September 12th, Charlotte Caubel and Olivier Veran, Government spokespersons, will visit the 119 to engage in discussions with the professionals involved.
According to the State Secretary, « the campaign will be launched from September 15th through animated displays and digital platforms, and then in cinemas starting from September 20th. It will be televised for the first time on September 21st, and then extensively aired from October 6th to November 2nd, 2023. On social media, it will feature thematic content created by experts and professionals in child protection. »

Every three minutes
According to Ciivise (Independent Commission on Incest and Sexual Violence against Children), launched in January 2021 after the publication of « La Familia grande, » the book in which Camille Kouchner revealed the incest suffered by her brother, 5.5 million adults have been victims of sexual assault in their childhood. A child becomes a victim of incest, rape, or sexual assault every three minutes.
The campaign is launched as « Triste Tigre » becomes the highlight of this literary season: author Neige Simmo releases a novel with P.O.L that addresses the sexual violence she endured in her childhood, resulting in her incestuous stepfather being sentenced to nine years in prison.
