On September 7th, Emmanuel Macron announces the establishment of a new CNR dedicated to riots. On October 9th, Elisabeth Borne convenes an interministerial committee on urban affairs.

What is the most concerning issue for the French this summer? Inflation, yes, but it only comes in second place after the riots. In a survey conducted by Elabe for BFMTV (August 30th), urban violence takes the first place with 52%. « What happened at the end of June and beginning of July is reinforced by the fear that it will happen again. People feel vulnerable, afraid of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, » says Bernard Sananès, president of Elabe.
