From September 20th to 22nd, 2023, as part of the « Experience my life » initiative, the Minister of National Education, Gabriel Attal, along with his team, will spend three days and two nights fully immersed in a high school in eastern France. This is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the daily lives of students and school staff.

Du 20 au 22 septembre prochains, Gabriel Attal et tout son cabinet seront sur le terrain pour la mise en place de l’opération « Vis ma vie » destinée à comprendre les besoins quotidiens des élèves et d’un personnel de lycée. Pour l’heure, le nom de l’établissement n’a pas encore été révélé.
Each advisor will be paired with a staff member from the high school.
At the end of September, Minister Gabriel Attal will be visiting a high school in eastern France for three days and will be staying in its boarding house with his 15 advisors, according to RTL. Each of them will be paired with a member of the school staff.
One of his advisors even stated on this matter: « But a minister spending the night in a high school dormitory, with students and his collaborators, that’s completely new. It gives ideas, you can feel things, » according to BFMTV.
Un évènement déjà expérimenté sous une autre forme
Ce déplacement inédit, avait déjà eu lieu en 2017 et lors d’un quinquennat de Nicolas Sarkozy, mais sous une autre forme. En décembre 2017, Edouard Phillipe avait délocalisé son gouvernement dans le Lot.
Mais l’idée avait été trouvée par Nicolas Sarkozy, alors qu’il était président. Celui-ci avait organisé en Corse et à Strasbourg, des Conseils des ministres afin de montrer que la capitale pouvait aussi venir en région.
