The municipal council of Castelnau-Montratier deliberated on October 12, under the presidency of Mayor Dominique Marin. One item concerned the health center, which is a priority for this term due to the lack of doctors in the municipality. In order to expedite the construction of the permanent center under the auspices of the intermunicipal community, a principle resolution was passed to transfer a portion of the former nursing home to the intermunicipal authority so that they can carry out renovation work on the building facing the patio, on the ground floor. The new premises, larger than those of the current health center set up by the municipality, would accommodate doctors as well as other healthcare professions. Four offices would be created in the former rooms. Already, one wing of the nursing home houses a secondary ophthalmology clinic with an orthoptist. The mayor expressed confidence that the project was on track.
Il a par ailleurs été décidé de faire un don de 1 000 € en soutien aux populations victimes du séisme au Maroc, grâce au Fonds d’action extérieure des collectivités territoriales. Les travaux d’agrandissement du cimetière de Castelnau-Montratier sont terminés. Les tarifs des concessions ont été révisés et harmonisés sur l’ensemble des cimetières de la commune de Castelnau-Montratier-Sainte-Alauzie. À compter du 12 octobre 2023, les concessions trentenaires de 2,5 m² ou 5 m² coûteront 60 € le m2, les concessions cinquantenaires de 2,5 m² ou 5 m² 100 € le m2. Le prix des cases au columbarium ainsi que les cavurnes est de 400 € pour 30 ans et de 600 € pour 50 ans. Une décision modificative a été votée pour financer la pompe à chaleur obsolète de l’office du tourisme (ancienne trésorerie) pour un coût de 5 600 €.
