On Wednesday, there was confusion at the National Assembly’s Committee on Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning. Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, appeared before the parliamentary group LFI-Nupes.
« We are currently resolving the legal issue. »
What the minister responded afterwards: « Regarding Montpellier, the Western Bypass, I don’t know if it pleases or displeases, but this project is underway. There was an issue with pricing, and this pricing had a legal problem. We are currently resolving it at the request of the Council of State, which deemed the previous toll system non-compliant. »
From Paris, it is indeed possible to confuse Le Com and Le Lien! This rather inappropriate response to the question confirms that Le Com is definitely underway.
