Portet-sur-Garonne. Une ministre en visite à la mairie

Last Friday, Thierry Suaud, mayor and departmental councilor, received Dominique Faure, minister delegate in charge of territorial communities and rural areas, in his capacity as president of the SDEHG (Departmental Energy Union of Haute-Garonne).

Thierry Suaud represented the municipalities of Haute-Garonne and spoke to the minister during this meeting held at the town hall of Portet, in the presence of Jean-Luc Blondel, sub-prefect of Muret, and Patrick Caseilles, director of SDEHG. The topics discussed included public lighting renovation, energy savings in our municipalities, and the Fond Vert initiatives.

All the topics that currently concern the municipalities were discussed with the minister, who took note of all these questions. She emphasized that she will immediately implement the support plan for small municipalities planned for 2024, as the budgets have been allocated. She aims to recruit ten « Rural France » project managers by the end of the year.
