Schéma départemental des sports gardois 2023-2027 : « faire du sport une activité pour tous et praticable partout »

C’est par l’intermédiaire d’une conférence de presse informelle et en petit comité que le Conseil départemental du Gard a dévoilé, ce mardi 17 octobre, son premier Schéma départemental des Sports pour les quatre prochaines années.

Listening to Vincent Bouget, Carole Perrin, and Ludmila Chave, it becomes clear that sport is intended to be a crucial skill for all residents of Gard.« Due to the pandemic causing shifts, particularly in lifestyles, our goal was to make sports an activity accessible to everyone and feasible anywhere. » confie Vincent Bouget, vice-président délégué aux sports. 

At the end of 2022, a survey conducted on the state of sports in Gard approved the already implemented policy. The approach determined by the adoption of this initial departmental plan seeks to take into account the findings of this questionnaire, which received three thousand responses. « Ce projet vise à reconduire la totalité des actions existantes tout en insistant sur certains points qui seront couplés à la mise en place d’actions novatrices, poursuit-il. Il est indéniable que les avantages résultant de l’engagement dans une activité sportive sont bien établis.

Trois grandes orientations

At the heart of this extensive project, three orientations can be distinguished. Firstly, to make access to sports practice accessible and equal for everyone. Additionally, to strengthen territorial cohesion by bringing together sports organizations with complementary policies. Finally, to promote the territory of Gard, its natural spaces, and its actors. Through these measures, the Departmental Council of Gard aims to establish itself as an essential actor within its territory.

Le Schéma adopté lors du conseil départemental du Gard, le 13 octobre dernier, souhaite également faire du Centre sportif de Méjannes-le-Clap une infrastructure unique dans la promotion du sport de haut niveau. À noter que le centre a récemment accueilli l’équipe de France masculine de basket 3×3.
