Pas mal de records personnels sont tombés notamment celui du vainqueur du 5 km Arnaud Delaat du G2A qui a affolé les compteurs. Annoncé comme le favori du tracé, l’Angoumoisin n’a pas failli à son statut puisqu’il couvre la distance en 14’48.

Les Cognaçaises en force

Sur la distance « reine », les locaux ont trusté tous les accessits. D’abord chez les hommes, où la bataille entre Kevin Bourg et Paul Boisson a duré du début à la fin de la course avant de voir le plus jeune l’emporter. Même si Kévin Bourg passait en tête aux 3,5 km, Paul Boisson n’était qu’à quelques encablures derrière, suivis de près par Louis Radius, médaillé de bronze aux Jeux Paralympiques en 2016 et vice-champion du monde du 1500 m en 2015.
