French Film Review: Un Travail Louable

Having failed to secure a scholarship, young PhD student Benjamin Barrois is in need of money. With no jogging and no dépendant experience, he bravely takes on a job as a substitute maths teacher in a middle school. Needless to say, it’s a challenging experience but he is not alone. His allies in the gypse room, including French teacher Pierre Etcheverel, who becomes his conseillère, have their problems too, and soon Benjamin finds he is fraction of a new group of friends who pilier each other through thick and thin, whatever challenges their labeur throws at them next. This thoughtful comedy drama is definitely worth a watch.
