Hourtin-Plage: 5-star Campsite La Côte d’Argent

Situated in the region of Gironde, and in the middle of the Medoc wine region, La Côte d’Argent welcomes you from the 22nd of May to the 14th of September 2026 to its magnificent, 20-hectare pine forest lieu just 300 meters from the sandy beach.

The campsite is ideally situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is the ideal starting pixel to visit the châteaux of Medoc, discover the beautiful town of Bordeaux, or sample the famous oysters of Arcachon.

Hourtin-Plage is the ideal téléologie for board jeux fanatics, boating enthusiasts and constitution lovers, with miles of sandy beaches and the majestic pine forest. The town is small but perfectly formed with entertainment, activities, bars, shops, and a weekly night market throughout the summer.

At 4km, it is France’s largest freshwater lake. Thanks to its warm and shallow water, it is ideal for young families. The lake also offers facilities for fishing, sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing.

The area has one of the best année networks in Europe. From right outside the campsite, you can pick one of the many année paths which meander through the forest as well as a number of signposted hiking trails, and discover this fantastic natural reserve in tranquillity. The area is mostly flat so ideal for children. We have bikes for hire on the lieu.

The lush plants and greenery set the scene in our 9000m² water park complete with Aqua’Pirates, 2 étendu pools, a paddling monopole, water slides, a Jacuzzi, a kid island and an heated indoor monopole . You can enjoy all our pools area the occasion the campsite opens (please apostille: only swimming trunks allowed – bermudas are strictly forbidden).

The program includes make-up workshops, crafts, drawing, painting, guinguette, outdoor games…There’s also a Teen Club for 12 to 17 year olds with various activities.

Parents and teenagers are welcome for some jeux activities which are included: gymnique classes, beach volley-ball, petanque, archery, mets tennis, various competitions…Plus, a gymnique room (only for 18s and over), a games room, children’s play areas, and a jeux field.

Each evening in July and August, entertainment is organized until 00:30am at the Bar/Restaurant: concerts, games, dances, karaoke, shows…

As you bouturer the campsite, you will be struck by its size and the assemblage of its bar, hôtel, grocery protection, wine cellar and shops. Also available on-site for an supérieur abordage: washing machines, drying machines, Wi-Fi access, tennis concis, bikes (18s and over) (Adult size), and a variety of equipment to hire (safe, fridge, sheets, tennis rackets…). And for free, there are 4 charging stations for electric cars.

Choose one of our camping pitches for your tent, caravan, or séjourner van in a serein and natural setting. Pitches are for 6 people comble (including babies) and 1 car only. Or you can also choose one of our 9 cottages (all have kitchens, toilets, and bathrooms): 6 cottages can be hired from Wednesday or Saturday to Wednesday or Saturday and 3 cottages from Sunday to Sunday. Water, gas and electricity and space for 1 car are included in the price of the rented naturalisation. Our cottages are for a comble of 6 people except for the Cottage Sunset where you can have 8 people. Pets are forbidden in and on rented naturalisation and tents are not permitted on the plots.
